Eon Loop, 2019 "Eon," from the ancient Greek αἰών, meaning vital time, course of life, life. One of the longest measures of time in the history of the Earth. Eons are divided into eras, eras into periods, and periods into epochs. The Eocene is an epoch that spans about 17 million years within the Paleogene period in the Cenozoic era of the Phanerozoic eon. It began around 56 million years ago and ended about 34 million years ago. It is an epoch that occurred after the mysterious K/T impact on the Yucatán coast and a series of drastic climate changes around 65 million years ago. The K/T impact contributed to the extinction of 76% of species, marking the end of the dinosaurs and the beginning of the Cenozoic era, which followed the Mesozoic era. During the Eocene, mountain ranges like the Alps and the Himalayas were formed, several important climatic changes occurred, and mammals and birds occupied the top tier of the food chain. The evolution of the first cetaceans began, the largest snake species on Earth existed, and there was a great expansion and diversification of ants. Antarctica started the epoch surrounded by tropical forests and ended with the appearance of the first polar ice caps. Through chimeras, myths, and stories, we attempt to explain life, natural phenomena, cycles, encounters with death, meaning, and perhaps resurrection. Light and darkness are always present between the divine and the earthly, and what once seemed plausible at another time is now unreal. Ancient gods and various variations appear within these pages. It's a transition from duality to unity and vice versa. Whether Cihuateteo, Aragne, Zurvan, Fanes, the Demiurge, the Orphic egg, the sun, or the moon, the creative and driving forces of the universe appear repeatedly; it is the same mythic corpus making itself present through time and space under different names.

Los eones se dividen en eras, las eras en periodos, los periodos en épocas. El Eoceno es una época que se extiende por 17 Millones de años dentro del período Paleógeno en la era Cenozóica, del eón Fanerozoico. Comienza hace unos 56 Ma y termina hace unos 34 Ma. Es una época que sucedió después del misterioso impacto K/T en las costas de Yucatán y de una serie de drásticos cambios climáticos hace 65 Ma. El impacto K/T contribuyó a la desaparición del 76% de las especies, marcando el fin de los dinosaurios, supuso el fin de la era Mesozoica y el inicio de la era Cenozoica. Durante el Eoceno se formaron cordilleras como los Alpes y el Himalaya y acontecieron varios cambios climáticos importantes, así como la ocupación del escalón más alto en la cadena alimenticia por parte de los mamiferos y las aves. Los primeros cetáceos comenzaron su evolución, existió la especie de serpiente más grande de la Tierra, también se produjo la gran expansión y diversificación de las hormigas. La Antártida comenzó la época rodeada de bosques tropicales, y la finalizó con la aparición de los primeros casquetes polares. A través de quimeras, mitos y relatos, intentamos explicar la vida, los fenómenos naturales, los ciclos, el encuentro con la muerte, el sentido y quizá la resurrección. La luz y la oscuridad están siempre presentes entre lo divino y lo terrestre y lo que una vez resulto verosímil en otro momento es irreal. Dioses arcaicos y algunas variaciones aparecen en estas páginas. Es un tránsito de la dualidad a la unidad y viceversa.
